I’m in 2nd Place!
This week all candidates running for State Office in Maryland were required by law to publicly post their fundraising results.
The GREAT NEWS is that my campaign’s fundraising is very strong. We have surpassed expectations and surged into second place with $84,141 cash on hand for the final 5 months of this campaign. This is all the more impressive because all three of the other candidates are incumbent Delegates. See the graphic below!
As you can see there are four candidates. But there are three seats. So three out of four of us will win the election in June! I believe that because of your generous support, I am in good position to be one of those three winners. All three of the other candidates are now under a fundraising ban during the legislative session in Annapolis until April 12. I face no such ban.
So while these fundraising results are encouraging, we still have an enormous challenge ahead. I am $31,000 behind the first place candidate.
I strongly believe that we can hit 1st place before session adjourns on April 12. Our team of volunteers, staff, and donors have gotten us to where we are today and I’m not giving up on this opportunity to take the lead.
Let’s close this fundraising gap before the clock runs out! Please pitch in today by clicking here. Help me reach the #1 spot for this competitive election.
